Lauwersmeer

Got up real early today (4 am). Thought off getting some pics during 'magic hour', the periods of good light at sun rise or sunset. This espacially good practice when making landscape pictures. Problem is: Lauwersmeer isn't that beautifull a place. So I didn't upload those pictures I made (here nor on my main site). The last few days there were some rareties in Lauwersmeer (Wilson's Phalarope, Phalaropus tricolor) and Breebaartpolder (Greater Sandplover, Charadrius leschenaultii, Terek Sandpiper, Xenus cinereus and some Broad-billed Sandpipers, Limicola falcinellus). As I don't like large crowds (any more) of twitchers/birders, I managed to stear clear of those.
I uploaded some new pics of Common Chiffchaff, Phylloscopus colybitta -repeated here below-, Willow Warbler, Phylloscopus trochilus, Common Chaffinch, Fringilla coelebs and Grey Heron, Ardea cinerea. I also worked on my 'about me' page on this blog.
