Carel Coenraadpolder and Blauwe Stad

Today I slept late, got up at 7.30. I went to Blauwe Stad and Carel Coenraadpolder in the (north)eastern parts of Groningen. At Blauwe Stad I photographed a male Red-crested Pochard, Netta rufina. And a flying male Gadwall, Anas strepera.
Apart from some Mantague's Harriers, Circus pygargus and a passing Black Kite, Milvus migrans, I didn't see anything worth mentioning there, or in the Carel Coenraadpolder. I managed to take some nice pics of Northern Wheatear, Oenanthe oenanthe, though. And some of Sedge Warbler, Acrocephalus schoenabaenus. Pics of the warbler didn't make it to the main site though, because of some irritating twig in front of it's head. Otherwise it would have quite nice enough.
